FRM specialises in municipal waste management issues and solutions. The company has written waste management strategies for local authorities, advised on new waste technology treatments on behalf of Defra, developed waste prevention strategies and has provided a range of modelling services covering recycling, bio-waste, refuse collections, environmental and carbon impacts.
Paul Frith, Director, has issued technical papers and written technical waste management publications for Government and other public sector bodies both nationally and internationally. The company has the capability to produce life cycle analysis (LCA) using the Waste & Resource Assessment Tool for the Environment (WRATE) and the WRAP Kerbside Assessment Tool (KAT) for recycling, food waste, AWC options to determine costs and performance levels.
FRM have delivered over 50 briefing and training sessions covering a wide variety of issues as well as providing the Ministry of Defence with repeat training courses and the University of Southampton with lectures for their MSc Sustainable Waste Management course.
